Description
The Bolgheri Rosso Le Macchiole of the homonymous company was born in vineyards located in the extraordinary Bolgheri terroir.
It is produced with Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah grapes, carefully handpicked between August and September. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in steel for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 11 months almost entirely in second and third passage barriques, before being bottled.
Bolgheri Rosso Le Macchiole is characterized by an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with intense hints of cherry, red fruits and plum. On the palate it is elegant, fresh and balanced, with a long and pleasantly sweet finish.
Excellent to pair with appetizers and earthen risotto, this wine is perfect to accompany grilled meat, game and mature cheeses.
