Description
Bolgheri Rosso Campo al Faro was born in the heart of the magical Bolgheri terroir in Castagneto Carducci, where the seasons always carry the scent of summer, sea breezes and opportunities waiting to be seized.
This wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes harvested between September and the beginning of October. The grapes are vinified in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The resulting wine is aged 50% in French oak barrels for 7 months and the remaining 50% in concrete for 7 months.
Deep ruby red, it opens to the nose with intense fruity notes of cherries and forest berries, enriched by spicy notes. The palate is full and warm, with fine tannins and a long finish.
Perfect with baked lasagne, braised and roasted red meats and mature cheeses.
