Description
The Tuscan red wine from the I Luogos winery was born in Bolgheri with Stefano and Paola, who have been making wine in southern Tuscany since 2000, an area dedicated to international vines and Bordeaux-inspired blends.
The must obtained from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes is fermented spontaneously in steel containers with maceration on the skins for at least 24 days. Subsequently the wine ages in French oak barriques for 18 months.
In the glass the wine is an intense ruby red. On the nose the bouquet is articulated and recalls ripe red fruit, vanilla and Mediterranean herbs. The sip is soft, with velvety tannins and a long finish.
It can be accompanied with baked lasagna, roasted or stewed red meats and aged cheeses.
