Bolgheri DOC Rosso Borgeri 2023 Giorgio Meletti Cavallari

Bolgheri Rosso Borgeri by Giorgio Meletti, a company founded in 2002 and located in southern Tuscany.

It consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes, which undergo a cold prefermentation maceration for 24-36 hours. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in barriques for 8 months, followed by 8 months in the bottle.

Deep ruby red in color with violet reflections, the nose is expressed with aromas of small red fruits, enriched with balsamic notes. The sip is warm, with pronounced and harmonious tannins and a good persistence.

It goes well with first and second courses based on red meat.
