Description
The Bolgheri Bianco Criseo di Guado al Melo is produced in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, in the province of Livorno, on fine sandy-clayey soil enriched with pebbles. This white wine expresses the complexity of its blend, made up of Vermentino, Fiano, Verdicchio, Incrocio Manzoni and Petit Manseng grapes, vines that contribute to creating a unique and distinctive aromatic profile.
The vinification follows a soft pressing of the grapes, with subsequent fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature to preserve the most delicate aromas. The refinement of the wine continues for 12 months in steel on the fine lees, enriching itself with texture and complexity, and is completed with a further period of rest in the bottle.
It is characterized by a brilliant golden yellow. The nose is clean and elegant, with notes of white flowers and citrus fruits that mix with aromatic herbs, honey and touches of sweet fruit in the finish. On the palate the wine is full and well balanced, with a long and persistent finish.
This wine is ideal in combination with seafood dishes, such as seafood risottos and grilled fish.
