Hints of raspberries and lemon with floral notes of white and red flowers. Full body, rubbery tannin and acid and taut finish. Well done. Drink now.

Description

The Bell'Aja di San Felice comes from the silt-sandy soils of the Bolgheri municipality of Castagneto Carducci, one of the most suitable terroirs for the production of red wine.

It is a wonderful blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested between the end of August and the second week of September. It ferments and macerates in steel for 18 days, then undergoes an aging of 12 months in French oak barriques.

Purplish red in the glass, it reveals singular notes of wild berries in jam on the nose, leaving a graceful sweet spiciness in the background. The palate is pleasant and of great balance, wrapped in a soft tannin that gives structure to the drink.

It can be enjoyed in the company of grilled meats and roast pork. Try it with a dish of ravioli with duck sauce.
