Description
The Beccaia by I Tirreni comes from vineyards located on the plain, about a kilometre from the coast.
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it is the result of a vinification carried out in small steel containers, in order to vinify the grapes with different characteristics separately and to ensure specific varieties for each variety. The malolactic fermentation is carried out in French oak barrels and in the same containers there is also ageing for a period of 8 months.
It has an intense ruby red colour with purple nails. By bringing your nose close to the glass, you can feel the typical varietal notes of Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by warm and fruity hints deriving from the presence of Merlot in the blend. The sip is full-bodied and structured, in line with the best expressions of the Bolgheri terroir.
Particularly suitable in combination with game dishes and stewed meats, it can easily escort a cutting board of blue cheeses.
