Description
The Bolgheri Rosso Aska by Banfi is born in vineyards located between the beaches of the northern Maremma and the hills surrounding Castello Carducci.
It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 12-14 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique for 10 months, and for a further period in the bottle.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with an intense and complex bouquet, with hints of currant, blueberry and plum jam, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of tobacco and licorice. On the palate it is soft, full and pleasantly powerful, with persuasive and elegant tannins and a persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
