Description
Sieur d'Arques is a signature of the bubble of Languedoc-Roussillon, in France near the Pyrenees. The company is located precisely in Limoux and has an area planted with vineyards equal to 1804 hectares. Première Bulle is the name of the line to which this wine belongs and which represents the top of the range of the collection.
It consists of a curious blend, divided into 90% Mauzac, 5% Chenin and 5% Chardonnay and is vinified starting from only flower must. Second fermentation in bottle foresees a pause on the lees for about 18 months.
The perlage is fine and persistent, capable of enhancing the fruity bouquet reminiscent of apricot, peach and pineapple, on a background of shortcrust pastry and lemon cream. The taste shows a velvety yet fresh, taut and savory character, making it perfect to accompany any moment of conviviality.
Ideal to accompany a spinach quiche.
