Description
The Marko Loretxoa takes its name from the word 'flower' in the Basque language and refers both to the places where the Oxer family owns the vineyards and to the winemaking method used.
Grown in the Municipality of Kortezubi, the varieties that make up this wine depend on its proximity to the Atlantic coast and grow on clayey and calcareous soils. After harvesting, fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers and follows a subsequent refinement using the flor for 2 months. This process, completed with the use of old Jerez barrels, gives the wine minerality and flavor.
Straw yellow in color, it expresses intense minerality on the nose with notes of grapefruit, citrus peel and lime, maintaining a fresh and sharp flavor on the palate that remains impressed by its interesting flavor accompanied by chalky and herbaceous accents.
Try it with fried fish dishes or with tasty roasted pork.
