Description

Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz from Penfolds was born in vineyards located in the Coonawarra region in the heart of South Australia.

It is produced entirely with Syrah (Shiraz) grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels, partly new, before being bottled.

Bin 128 Coonawarra by Penfolds has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with an intense spicy bouquet of nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, enriched by well-mixed hints of black cherry and cherry liqueur, on a tomato background. On the palate it is compact and concentrated, with well integrated tannins, characterized by a good acidity and persistence.

Perfect to accompany red meat main courses and game, this red wine is ideal in combination with game.
