Description

The Biferno Rosso Ramitello from the Di Majo Norante company comes from the Ramitello vineyard in Campomarino, in the heart of Molise.

It is mainly produced with Montepulciano and Aglianico grapes, harvested by hand in late October. Vinification takes place in the traditional way, with maceration on the skins for about 1 month and malolactic fermentation. Subsequently, the wine ages partly in barriques and partly in steel tanks, resting for a further 6 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

It is characterized by a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with an intense bouquet, in which hints of plum stand out, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of leather and licorice. On the palate it is full, pleasantly soft and velvety, with a perfectly balanced body.

Perfect to accompany rich red meat and white meat dishes, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
