Description
This Premier Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in the 1.17 hectare vineyard, within the Beaune Grèves appellation.
It is made entirely of Pinot Noir grapes, which are first destemmed. This is followed by fermentation lasting 17 days at a controlled temperature in open wooden vats. The refinement takes place in oak barrels and lasts 18 months.
Ruby red in color with violet hues, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of small red fruits and toasted notes. The sip is juicy and delicate, with fine tannins and excellent persistence.
To pair with stewed red meats and mature cheeses.
