Description
Jacques Prieur's Beaune Champs-Pimont 1er Cru Rouge comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Beaune, in Burgundy, the cradle of high-quality French wines.
It is produced entirely with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand in small boxes. Fermentation takes place, with 20 days maceration, in wooden vats open at controlled temperature. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine ages for 20 months in oak barrels before being bottled.
Jacques Prieur's Beaune Champs-Pimont 1er Cru Rouge is characterized by an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with spicy notes of pepper, enriched with elegant hints of black cherry, vanilla and dark chocolate. In the mouth dominates a fleshy hint of black cherry and an intense sensation of warmth, accompanied by dense ripe tannins.
This red wine goes very well with meat-based second courses.
