Description
This Premier Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in the 2.06 hectare vineyard within the "Les Champs au pied du mont" parcel, within the Beaune appellation.
It is made entirely of Pinot Noir grapes, 50% of which are destemmed. This is followed by fermentation lasting 20 days at a controlled temperature in open wooden vats. The aging takes place in oak barrels and lasts 20 months.
Ruby red in color, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of rose and potpourri, black fruits and spices. The sip is fresh, with ripe tannins and excellent persistence.
To pair with grilled red meats.
