Description

The Act is the simplest and most immediate version of Aglianico del Vulture proposed by Cantine del Notaio, the one that is most suitable for daily consumption.

The harvest is manual and takes place in the first 10 days of October, when the ripening process is still in its infancy. Maceration lasts for 5-6 days and fermentation is carried out in steel with temperature control. It remains to refine for at least 12 months in French oak tonneaux.

It shows an intense ruby red color in the glass. It is fresh on the nose, with aromas of red fruits and some reminiscent of spices. Full and rich on the palate, it is in perfect balance with soft tannins that highlight its gustatory persistence.

The ideal combination is with boiled meats and soups but also goes very well with meat sauce and medium-aged cheeses.
