Description
The Bas Armagnac VS of Baron de Sigognac comes from the vineyards of the Ugni Blanc and Colombard varieties, vinified in white, then distilled in a continuous double-column still "Armagnacais". It is a blend of different armagnacs that have spent at least 2 years, up to 10 years of aging in new oak barrels from the forests of Gascogne and Limousin.
It has a golden yellow color tending towards amber. On the nose it is complex, with fresh peach aromas that are combined with more evolved hints of plum and quince. On the palate it is rich and delicate, balanced between notes of apple and sweet spices.
Perfect after dinner.
