Description
The Vietti family has been producing wines in Castiglione Falletto for four generations and manages a vineyard park with some plots in very suitable areas. The parcel located in the Rocche di Castiglione cru is a historic vineyard of the estate, wonderfully exposed to the south-east, in an area that has always been considered among the best for the cultivation of Nebbiolo.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats with maceration on the skins for four weeks with a submerged cap. According to the ancient tradition, the wine rests in large oak barrels for about 30 months, before finishing the refinement in the bottle.
With a bright garnet color, it seduces with aromas of dried rose petals, aromas of blood orange, small red berries, hints of officinal and balsamic herbs. The sip is clear and multifaceted, with a fine tannic texture and a fresh and harmonious finish.
To combine with roasts and game on the spit.
