Description
Roberto Voerzio's Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata comes from one of the most important vineyard hills of the denomination, located in the municipality of La Morra.
The grape harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine matures in cask and barrique for 24 months, then in steel for 8 months after blending and finally for 8 months in the bottle.
The color is ruby red. The bouquet expresses intense notes of dried rose, sandalwood and berries. The sip is soft and persistent, crunchy and dense with fruit.
Excellent with aged cheeses, it gives its best in the company of stewed meats and game-based preparations.
