Description
Rocche dell'Annunziata is a Barolo cru that owes its name to the prestigious sub-area from which it comes, located in the municipality of La Morra.
Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature, with 7 days maceration. Malolactic fermentation in wood follows and subsequent refinement in French oak barrels for 12 months and for another 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Garnet red in color in the glass, it satisfies the nose with a delicate and persistent hint of licorice which is accompanied by floral notes that recall rose and violet. In the mouth it is full and warm, characterized by a long persistence sip.
Wine to be served with important dishes, loves spit-roasted red meats, game and long-aged cheeses.
