Description

Lo Zoccolaio's Barolo Riserva Ravera comes from Nebbiolo grapes from the municipality of Novello, which guarantee a good structure combined with fine and elegant aromas.

The secret of this great red wine lies in the long maceration on the skins and in the aging as tradition dictates, in large oak barrels for 42 months, followed by further rest in the bottle for 6 months.

In the glass, this great Piedmontese red has a crystalline brilliance, and a full and persistent bouquet with aromatic notes reminiscent of dried flowers, alpine herbs and wood. On the palate it is pleasant and fascinating, with a great structure with ripe tannins and persistent aromas accompanied by a pleasant drinkable freshness.

Pair it with grilled and stewed meat dishes or aged cheeses, or share a tasting with those who love great red wines.
