Description
Roberto Voezio's cellar is located in the heart of the municipal area of La Morra, in the north-western area of the Barolo appellation. It has vineyards in very prestigious crus, including: Rocche dell'Annunziata, Cerequio, La Serra, Brunate, Case Nere and Fossati. Barolo Fossati Case Nere 10 Years is one of the most prestigious labels and is produced with a selection of the best grapes from the Fossati and Case Nere vineyards.
The bunches of Nebbiolo are vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine ages for 24 months in barriques (30% new, 70% used). After 8 months in steel, it completes the long aging with 7 years in the bottle.
Garnet in color, it expresses elegant and intense aromas of violets, dried flowers, medicinal herbs, licorice root and small red fruits. On the palate it has velvety tannins and a complex and harmonious sip, of great expressive finesse.
To be combined with roasts, game and braised meats.
