Description
The Barolo Riserva Pianpolvere Soprano was born in the homonymous sub-area of Bussia di Monforte d'Alba. The vineyard is managed in biodynamic agriculture.
It consists of 100% Nebbiolo grapes, which are vinified in cement and subsequently aged in barriques and in bottles for at least 10 years.
Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, the nose reveals aromas of dried violet, ripe red fruit, spices and undergrowth, enriched by a delicate balsamic note. The sip is fresh, with fine tannins and a persistent finish.
Ideal with structured dishes based on red meat, game or truffles.
