Description

Vietti is a historic winery in Castiglione Falletto, which also has vineyards of great value in the territories of Serralunga d'Alba, La Morra and Novello. Its labels are particularly loved for their classic style, faithful to the best tradition of the Langhe. The grapes come from a vineyard grown in the Ravera di Novello cru, on a hill wonderfully exposed to the south-west, with soils composed of calcareous-clayey marl.

The vinification takes place in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 4 or 5 weeks. The maturation includes a stop of over 30 months in large oak barrels and a further refinement in the bottle.

It has a garnet red color and the nose opens delicately with aromas of violet and dried flowers, followed by aromas of small red berries and subtle spicy notes. The sip is marked by dense tannins, well harmonized with a ripe fruit, which anticipates a finish of pleasant balsamic freshness.

To be paired with roasted red meats or game.
