Description
The Bel Colle estate is located in the municipal area of Verduno, in the northernmost area of the Barolo denomination. The Monvigliero cru has been known for centuries for the extraordinary elegance of its wines. The vineyards are located at the center of a wonderful natural amphitheater facing south-west, which favors perfect ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes.
At the end of the harvest operations, the best bunches are fermented with maceration on the skins. The wine matures for approximately 3 years in oak or chestnut barrels and finishes refining in the bottle.
It has a garnet color and a bouquet with aromas of red fruits, plums, cherries and black pepper. With a good structure, it stands out for velvety tannins and a harmonious and persistent sip, which closes on fresh and balsamic notes.
To pair with game and braised meats.
