Description
Barolo Villero di Sordo comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, in the province of Cuneo.
It is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with maceration in contact with the skins for 4 to 7 weeks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in Slavonian oak barriques, after which it remains for 4-6 months in steel and for another 6 months in bottle, before being released onto the market.
Barolo Villero di Sordo has a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with a rich and intense bouquet, with notes of licorice, mint and ripe red fruit, accompanied by floral and tobacco hints. On the palate it is warm and caressing, with an excellent structure.
Perfect to accompany roasts, this Barolo is ideal in combination with all game dishes.
