Description

Michele Chiarlo's Barolo Tortoniano was born in vineyards located in the municipality of La Morra, in the province of Cuneo.

It is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27-30 ° C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in large oak barrels and for at least 12 months in glass, before being placed on the market.

This Barolo is characterized by a bright garnet red color, with slight orange reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of red fruit, enriched with notes of licorice, dog rose and pepper. Elegant and velvety on the palate, with pleasantly soft tannins.

Perfect to accompany meat-based second courses and game, it is ideal in combination with truffles and in general with typical Piedmontese dishes.
