Description

The Barolo di Massolino comes from vineyards located in the Serralunga d'Alba area, one of the most important Cru of the denomination.

It is produced entirely from Nebbiolo grapes, harvested manually in the second half of October. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins for 15 days, at temperatures between 31 and 33 ° C. Followed by uplifting in oak barrels for at least 30 months and for another 12 months in the bottle in cool rooms protected from light.

It has an intense garnet red color. The nose releases a large and intense bouquet that includes intriguing spicy hints, which mix with gentle floral and fruity notes. It can be appreciated on the palate for its structured and classic taste.

To be preferred in the company of red meats and game, it does not disdain dishes based on truffles, risotto and medium-aged goat cheeses.
