Description
Fratelli Seghesio's Barolo originates from that part of the Barolo area traditionally known for being able to give masculine and powerful Baroli: Monforte d'Alba, opposite the Serralunga hill.
The harvest takes place manually in October. Vinification takes place traditionally in red, with medium aging in French oak barrels and barriques.
At sight it shows a garnet red color. The nose shows a finely fruity stamp of red and black berries, floral of violet and iris and finally an interesting menthol, balsamic and spicy interweaving. In the mouth a toasted imprint and a gentle tannin emerge. Fresh and tasty, it closes in a balanced finish.
Suitable to accompany first and second courses based on red meat. Ideal to serve with a hazelnut crusted sirloin.
