Description

The Barolo Riserva Vignolo di Cavallotto originates in the Piedmontese Langa, precisely from the cru Vignolo located in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto.

It consists of 100% Nebbiolo, which in this Reserve is expressed to the maximum of its elegance and complexity. The soils of this vineyard are particularly white, rich in calcium and sands. The harvest takes place in October and is followed by a long vinification carried out in the presence of indigenous yeasts. Refine inside Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 4 to 5 years. Another year of maturation in bottle follows before commercialization.

At sight it shows a beautiful garnet red color. Its scent first introduces notes of cherry and strawberry, and then leaves room for a markedly spicy background. In the mouth it wraps with a dense body and a silky tannin. Excellent persistence.

Ideal as an accompaniment to braised Barolo.
