Description
The Barolo Estate in Fontanafredda was born in the Nebbiolo vineyard within the Fontanafredda estate.
It is obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 30 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months in medium and large wooden barrels.
It has a garnet red color. It opens on the nose with floral and fruity aromas, enriched with hints of pine and camphor. On the palate it is rich, velvety and dry, with a harmonious and persistent finish.
Perfect in combination with red meat dishes and medium and long-aged cheeses.
