Description
The Barolo of Cantina della Porta Rossa comes from grapes from vineyards located in Serralunga and Perno, in the municipality of Monforte.
The Nebbiolo grapes are vinified with 10-day fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks, during which repeated pumping over is carried out. The refinement of the wine takes place in Slavonian oak barrels and lasts at least 2 years.
Brilliant ruby red in colour, the nose reveals a bouquet characterized by flowers and red fruit with spicy and ethereal notes. The sip is dry and austere, with a good persistence.
It goes very well with roasted and stewed meats, both red and game, as well as aged cheeses.
