Description
Barolo Oddero was born in vineyards located in the municipality of La Morra, in the heart of Piedmont.
It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested by hand during the first ten days of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 20 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 30 months before being bottled.
This Barolo is characterized by a bright garnet red color. The nose opens with intense spicy aromas with hints of truffle, licorice and withered flowers. On the palate it is dry, with full and important tannins.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
