Description

This Barolo from Astemia Pentita, unlike the crus, is the result of an assembly of grapes from different vineyards of the denomination, whose characteristics blend together to give life to a wine of particular interest.

100% Nebbiolo, it is the result of a red vinification with 30-35 days spent in maceration, followed by refinement in barrels for a period of no less than 36 months.

Ruby red in appearance with garnet reflections, it offers intense floral scents to the nose, accompanied by elegant notes of cherry and blackberry. Hints of wood and licorice contribute to complete the picture. In the mouth it is characterized by a good tannic texture and a slight freshness that combine with an important structure that contributes to the overall balance.

Excellent with roasts and game dishes, it pairs very well with all truffle-based recipes.
