Description
The Barolo La Serra by Roberto Voerzio is born in vineyards located in the municipality of La Morra.
Produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October, it is the result of a fermentation that takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine is aged for 24 months in barrique and large cask, for 8 months in steel and for a further 8 months in bottle.
It is characterized by a dark garnet color. The nose opens with intense fruity hints of blackberries and blueberries, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of licorice, cocoa and chocolate. On the palate it is soft and pleasantly balanced, with a long persistence.
Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
