Description
Guasti's Barolo Ginestra comes from the cru of the same name located in the Monforte vineyard and is an example of excellence in the panorama of Piedmontese wines.
It is made up solely of Nebbiolo grapes, of the Lampia, Michet and Rosé sub-varieties. The winemaking follows traditional methods, with a long aging of 2 years and 6 months in oak barrels. This maturation period allows the aromas to fully develop and the tannins to integrate, resulting in a final wine of great balance and structure.
It presents itself to the eye with a garnet red color enriched with orange reflections. An intense and floral aroma emerges on the nose that recalls hints of rose and violet, on an ethereal background. In the mouth the flavor is warm, dry and harmonious.
This Barolo is particularly suitable for accompanying roast meats, mature cheeses and game.
