Description

The Barolo Gabutti di Sordo comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo.

It is produced entirely with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with maceration of 4-6 weeks in contact with the skins depending on the vintage. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in the same containers and ages for 24-48 months in large oak barrels and then rests in glass for at least 5 years, before being placed on the market.

The Barolo Gabutti di Sordo is characterized by a garnet red color, intense and deep. The nose opens with a pleasantly floral bouquet, enriched with hints of fresh red fruit and sweet spices. On the palate it is sapid and well structured, with perfectly balanced acidity and tannins. Very long-lived wine, it is able to acquire after an adequate refinement, great elegance, minerality and personality.

Excellent with roasts, this Barolo is perfect to accompany all game dishes.
