Description
The Burlotto family has been present in the Langhe since the mid-19th century and owns vineyards in the municipalities of Verduno, Monforte d'Alba, Barolo and Roddi, with many parcels in famous crus. It is a Barolo produced only with grapes from Verduno.
According to the oldest tradition of the Langhe, it is an assembly of different vineyards cultivated in the crus of Breri, Neirane, Rocche Olmo and Boscatto, in order to obtain a particularly balanced and harmonious wine. Fermentation takes place in open French oak vats and the wine rests for a period of about 30 months in large oak barrels, to complete the refinement with 9 months in the bottle.
It is a classic and traditional Barolo, characterized by a garnet color and a ripe fruit, with spicy and floral nuances. Intense and structured, it has a long and very persistent sip.
To be combined with braised and roasted red meats.
