Description

The Barolo Essenze Riserva from the Terredavino company is a top-level assembly Barolo, produced exclusively in large vintages. It was born in the Langhe area in Piedmont.

It is produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. After a maceration lasting about 25 days, the wine ferments in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently it ages in wood for about 36 months and for a further 24 months in bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color tending to garnet. The nose opens with a sweet and ethereal bouquet with hints of violet, blackberry jam, licorice and cloves on the finish. On the palate it is refined, pleasantly full-bodied and dry with delicate tannins. It gives a pleasant aftertaste of berries and chocolate.

Ideal to be served with barbecued red meats, it goes well with tasty stewed meat recipes, it is excellent with truffles.
