Description

The Vietti winery represents a piece of Langhe history and is still today one of the best excellences of the Castiglione Falletto area. The Castiglione label perfectly interprets the idea of the oldest Barolo, based on an assembly of Nebbiolo grapes from different plots, in order to obtain a balanced and complex red.

Vietti uses a selection of the best grapes from various vineyards of the estate, which are vinified and aged separately for a period of about 3 years in barriques and large barrels. Only before bottling the best batches are chosen to create the final assembly.

The result is a garnet-colored Barolo, rich and harmonious, with aromas of morello cherry and small red berries, floral nuances and hints of undergrowth and humus. On the palate it is structured, with evolved tannins and intense and persistent aromas, which close on pleasantly refreshing notes.

To be combined with roasted red meats, game or stewed meats.
