Description

The Barolo Cannubi of the L'Astemia company is born in vineyards located within one of the most prized cru of the famous Barolo DOCG production area.

It is produced entirely with Nebbiolo grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, for 30-35 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 36 months in large barrels, before being bottled.

It is characterized by a light ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with enveloping notes of ripe black fruit, accompanied by hints of spices, dried flowers and vanilla. In the mouth it is dry, fresh and rightly tannic, closing in the finish with a pleasant mineral and citrus note.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, this wine is ideal in combination with truffles and aged cheeses.
