Description
Born in the 1960s, this Piedmontese winery, known for its original labels with the image of the rhino by Albrecht Dürer, has been able to establish itself as one of the most interesting realities of the Langhe landscape. The Campè vineyard is located in the municipal area of Grinzane Cavour, in the central part of the Garetti cru, with a wonderful southern exposure.
The old vines of over 70 years give excellent quality grapes, which are vinified with maceration on the skins for a couple of weeks. The aging takes place in traditional oak barrels for a period of 24 months followed by 12 months of aging in the bottle.
Garnet-colored Barolo, which expresses aromas of violets, aromas of cherries, berries, medicinal herbs and soft spices. On the palate it is rich and intense, with a deep and powerful extension towards a persistent finish.
To combine with game or roast beef.
