Description
This Barolo is obtained exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, cultivated with great care to respect the identity of the variety and the territory. The production follows a traditional approach, without compromises, to enhance the purity and elegance of the wine. Each bottle encapsulates the soul of Castiglione Falletto, expressing the meticulousness and passion of the Brovia family, which has passed down its experience for generations.
The winemaking process involves spontaneous fermentations and a long maceration on the skins, respecting the natural timing of the grape. The aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 36 to 40 months, without filtration, to preserve the integrity of the wine. This process allows for the creation of a Barolo of extraordinary complexity and finesse, true to the most authentic tradition.
The wine is distinguished by a deep and elegant aromatic profile, with notes of ripe red fruits, delicate spices, and earthy hints. On the palate, it reveals itself to be intense and structured, with well-present tannins that are perfectly integrated, providing long persistence and a fascinating evolution over time. The refined and harmonious character fully reflects the production philosophy of the winery.
It pairs wonderfully with flavorful and elaborate meat dishes, enhancing their flavors with its extraordinary complexity and depth.
