Description

Barolo Briccolina is produced by the Batasiolo company, owned by the Dogliani family, which has been producing wine in the Langhe for over 4 decades. The company produces several Barolos from some of the most prestigious crus, such as Cerequio, Bussia, Brunate, Briccolina, Boscareto.

The Nebbiolo grapes are destemmed and fermented with maceration on the skins for at least 10-12 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with periodic pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in French oak barriques and subsequently in stainless steel tanks, to continue in the bottle.

Intense garnet red in color, it expresses intense ripe fruit, flowers and spices on the nose. The sip is powerful, full-bodied, harmonious and long-lasting.

Ideal in combination with tagliatelle with wild boar ragout and stewed game.
