Description
The Ceretto family has been producing great wines in the Langhe for almost a century. Today it manages a large estate under certified organic farming, which includes stoic vineyards in the fine Barolo crus: Brunate, Bussia, Bricco Rocche, Prapò, Cannubi San Lorenzo and Barbaresco: Asili, Bernadot and Gallina.
Barolo Prapò is born in the Serralunga d'Alba area, from a vineyard that enjoys a particularly cool microclimate, which slowly ripens the grapes. At the end of the red vinification with maceration on the skins, the Barolo rests for 24 months in oak barrels, to end the period of refinement in the bottle.
Structure and elegance come together in a great garnet red wine, which smells of balsamic herbs, licorice root, dried flowers, aromas of red fruits, undergrowth and spices. The sip is important, with lively tannins, complex and deep aromas.
To be combined with braised meats, game and roast beef.
