Description
This Barolo di Azelia originates in the Bricco Fiasco vineyard, located on the top of the steep hill of Castiglione Falletto, the historic cru of the denomination.
Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes only, it is the result of a red vinification with indigenous yeasts in vertical steel tanks, which is completed with an aging of 24 months in barrique.
Ruby red wine with garnet reflections, it releases an intense and floral aroma on the nose, which later reveals a soul of ripe red fruit. In the mouth it is warm and enveloping, with well-ripe tannins and a rich taste, typical of this area of Barolo.
Excellent in the company of red meats and game, it is the perfect combination of medium-long aged cheeses.
