Description

The Barolo di Barolo Essenze by Vite Colte was born in the vineyards of the municipality of Barolo, located in the renowned Langhe area, in Piedmont.

It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected with extreme care. After maceration lasting about 20 days in contact with the skins, malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine ages in small wooden barrels for 24 months and for a further 6 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red colour, tending towards garnet. The nose opens with complex and intense aromas, with notes of violet, tar and vanilla. On the palate it is balanced, broad, soft, pleasantly dry and with a persistent finish.

It is an elegant Barolo perfect as a meditation wine. It goes well with seasoned cheeses and truffles and is excellent to serve with savoury risottos and game-based main courses.
