Description
Barolo del Comune di La Morra by Marcarini company is made with Nebbiolo grapes obtained from the municipality of the same name.
Once the must is obtained from Nebbiolo grapes, it ferments on the skins at a controlled temperature for at least 4 weeks. Subsequently, the wine is aged for 2 years in steel and then 24 months in large 30 hl Slavonian oak barrels, before being mechanically filtered and ageing in the bottle for 6 months.
In the glass the wine appears of a light ruby colour with garnet reflections. The olfactory profile is broad and is outlined on hints of red and dark fruits, sweet spicy notes and tobacco. In the mouth, the sip is warm, with silky tannins and a long persistence.
Ideal in combination with important red meat and game dishes.
