Description

The name of Giacomo Conterno evokes the myth of the great reds of the Langhe, created thanks to labels that have conquered the most refined palates around the world. For over a century, its wines have interpreted the best terroirs of the appellation in the sign of excellence.

Barolo Arione comes from a splendid vineyard grown in the cru of the same name in the municipal area of Serralunga d'Alba, which is located just south of the famous cru Francia. At the end of the classic red vinification, the wine matures for 4 years in large oak barrels and ends the refinement in the bottle.

Garnet red in color, it is distinguished by refined aromas of violet, dried flowers, raspberry, currant and hints of medicinal herbs. Intense and structured, it has a dense and mature tannic texture and a remarkable complexity and gustatory persistence.

To be paired with braised meat in red wine, stews and game dishes.
