Description
Mauro Veglio's Barolo Arborina is produced in the small geographical mention of Arborina, located in the Annunziata hamlet in La Morra.
The winemaking process begins with a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperature for 48 hours, followed by fermentation with maceration on the skins in steel at a controlled temperature for 20-25 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in small, partially new oak barrels for 24 months.
Barolo Arborina stands out for its ruby red color of good intensity with slight garnet reflections. On the nose there are notes of cassis, blackcurrant and spices. In the mouth the wine is delicate and soft, with a mineral finish of beautiful persistence.
This wine is ideal in combination with red meats, game and mature cheeses.
